One of the groups that most marked me for life was Dimensión Latina, which was initially born as a salsa sextet and had a tremendous impact worldwide. It was from this same group that one of the greatest exponents of this Caribbean genre, Oscar D'León, emerged.

Apart from the enormous amount of cheerful and lively hits, they also harvested great hits in romantic boleros. This is one of them, originally sung as a duet by Oscar and the unmistakable voice of Vladimir Lozano.

The original record, from 1975, did not indicate the author of this beautiful song, however in a more recent version on Youtube, Oscar David appears as the author. I don't know this author and I don't know if he is really the composer of the song. But I was not going to limit myself by the lack of this information, so here I share with you my participation for the Hive Open Mic, week 63.

Uno de los grupos que más me marcó a mí de por vida, fue la Dimensión Latina, que nación inicialmente como un sexteto de salsa y que tuvo un impacto tremendo a nivel mundial. De esa misma agrupación es de donde sale uno de los más grandes exponentes de ese género tan caribeño, Oscar D'León.

Aparte de la enorme cantidad de éxitos alegres y animados, también cosecharon grandes hits en románticos boleros. Este que les presento hoy es uno de ellos, que originalmente fue cantado a dúo por Oscar y la inconfundible voz de Vladimir Lozano.

El disco original, de 1975 no indicaba el autor de esta hermosa canción, sin embargo en una versión más reciente en Youtube, aparece como autor Oscar David. No conozco a este autor y no sé si realmente es el compositor del tema.
