Aún después de mucho tiempo activos en Hive, hay gente que me pregunta qué es un curador, o cómo convertirse en uno de ellos y más aún, qué hacen y para qué sirve.

En este video doy algunas respuestas a estas interrogantes y a otras relacionadas con la forma de búsqueda de contenido para curar, herramientas antiplagio y más.

Even after a long time active in Hive, there are people who ask me what a curator is, or how to become one and even more, what they do and what it's for.

In this video I give some answers to these questions and others related to how to search for content to curate, anti-plagiarism tools and more.

Lo primera es dejar en claro que en Hive todos somos curadores, pues el acto de aprobar una publicación y dejarle nuestro voto, o un comentario es la labor de curación.

Pero hacerlo bien, con claridad y consciencia, es algo que se puede y se debe aprender, por tres razones.

Porque es la primera forma de interacción que tenemos en Hive.
Porque es la manera de nosotros expresar qué es lo que consideramos que está bien y cuál es el tipo de contenido que debe tener apoyo, para que sigan haciendo más.
Pues, en la medida que nuestro Hive Power crezca, eso nos generará ganancias, a través de las recompensas de curación.

Aprender a curar también nos va a ofrecer dos tipos de beneficios:

Primero, esta es la mejor forma de aprender a hacer contenido de calidad. Al entender qué es lo que se evalúa al hacer las curaciones, seremos capaces de producir contenido que tenga esas características
Segundo, convertirnos en "buenos curadores" puede abrirnos las puertas de comunidades o gremios de curación, que en algunos casos tienen incentivos económicos de variada índole y que pueden convertirse en un ingreso adicional.

The first thing is to make it clear that in Hive we are all curators, since the act of approving a publication and leaving our vote or a comment is the work of curating.

But doing it well, with clarity and awareness, is something that can and should be learned, for three reasons.

Because it is the first form of interaction we have in Hive.
Because it's the way for us to express what we think is right and what kind of content should be supported, so that they keep doing more.
Because, as our Hive Power grows, that will generate profits for us, through curation rewards.

Learning to curate will also offer us two types of benefits:

First, this is the best way to learn how to make quality content. By understanding what is evaluated when doing curations, we will be able to produce content that meets those characteristics.
Second, becoming "good curators" can open doors to curation communities or guilds, which in some cases have economic incentives of various kinds and can become an additional income.
