Fecundo

Con las heridas frescas de aquel juego malsano
me buscas pretendiendo hacerme tu solaz.
Combinas en tus modos lo tierno y lo procaz
y me ofreces tu cuerpo, el que ahora es profano.

El mismo que escudó tu mentira, tu engaño
lo brindas cual trofeo que selle nuestra paz,
pero el sabor que brinda, es amargo, es falaz
y tu afán complaciente se torna esfuerzo vano.

Cubrirme de tu piel fue algo más que la gloria,
estar entre tus piernas, una feria, una noria
y saborear tus labios me signaban ungido.

Mas la llama que ardía ahora se ha extinguido
y en la última entrega, complazco tus sentidos
mientras en ti fecundo el más profundo olvido.

Fertilize

With fresh wounds from that unhealthy game
you look for me pretending to make me your solace.
You combine in your manners the tender and the coarse
and you offer me your body, which is now profane.

The same one that shielded your lie, your deception
You offer it as a trophy to seal our peace,
but the taste it offers is bitter, it is fallacious
and your complacent eagerness becomes a vain effort.

Covering me with your skin was something more than glory,
to be between your legs, a fair, a Ferris wheel
and tasting your lips signified me anointed.

But the flame that burned now has been extinguished
and in the last surrender, I indulge your senses
while in you I fertilize the deepest oblivion.

¡Finalmente, ha llegado el momento! Hace poco más de un año y medio, empecé esta series de poemas, escritos como sonetos de versos alejandrinos, según la poética en español y la idea escribir aproximadamente una decena de ellos y convertirlos en un libro, que afortunadamente @jesuspsoto me convenció cambiarle el nombre, pues llevaba un título de sonoridad bastante fea. Aunque nunca concreté un nuevo nombre, descartar el anterior me sirvió para repensar el contenido, o mejor dicho, la forma de expresarlo, porque siempre estuvo claro que se trataba de poemas vivenciales de carácter erótico.

Pero la producción no se detuvo en la pensada decena, sino que cada día se me hacía más imperativo seguir y seguir. Una enorme necesidad, tanto poética como emocional, me obligaba a crear nuevos poemas y probar con las distintas estructuras, acentuaciones, rimas y narrativas. Y decidí que mientras necesitara hacerlos, seguiría escribiendo.

Pero ya hace unos días, sentí la necesidad de cerra el ciclo para pasar a algo nuevo, algún reto diferente, que seguramente estará cerca de lo que he venido desarrollando últimamente. También busqué un tema que significara un cierre, un fin de ciclo, que acompañara el fin de este ciclo literario.

Si esta serie, que finalmente consta de 33 poemas, se llega a convertir en libro o no, ya lo veremos. Por lo pronto me satisface haber cerrado este ciclo y haber concluido un nuevo reto literario para mí y espero de todo corazón que estos versos cumplan una labor positiva en quien los lea, que se conviertan en un estímulo para la creación literaria y en una excusa para seguir profundizando en el maravilloso mundo de la escritura y de la poesía rimada, que por compleja y exigente es rehuida por muchos noveles escritores.

Finally, the time has come! A little more than a year and a half ago, I started this series of poems, written as sonnets of alexandrine verses, according to Spanish poetics, and the idea was to write about ten of them and turn them into a book, which fortunately @jesuspsoto convinced me to change the name, because it had a rather ugly sounding title. Although I never came up with a new name, discarding the previous one helped me to rethink the content, or rather, the way of expressing it, because it was always clear that these were experiential poems of an erotic nature.

But the production did not stop at the planned ten, but every day it became more and more imperative for me to go on and on. An enormous need, both poetic and emotional, forced me to create new poems and try different structures, accentuations, rhymes and narratives. And I decided that as long as I needed to make them, I would keep writing.

But already a few days ago, I felt the need to close the cycle to move on to something new, some different challenge, which will surely be close to what I have been developing lately. I also looked for a theme that would signify a closure, an end of cycle, that would accompany the end of this literary cycle.

Whether this series, which finally consists of 33 poems, will become a book or not, we will see. For the time being, I am pleased to have closed this cycle and to have concluded a new literary challenge for me and I hope with all my heart that these verses will have a positive effect on those who read them, that they will become a stimulus for literary creation and an excuse to continue delving into the wonderful world of writing and rhymed poetry, which is so complex and demanding that many new writers shy away from it.
