Greetings to all! A new week begins and I am pleased to share with the #Music community my trumpet performance of “Waiting in Vain”, one of Bob Marley's most popular songs that is about love, hope and patience. The song talks about the pain of unrequited love, but it also talks about the importance of maintaining hope and never giving up on love. It's also a reminder that even in the darkest times, there is always hope for things to get better. The melody is beautiful, relaxing and soulful and is based on an I-IV-V chord progression. The chord changes are smooth and fluid, creating a sense of movement and progress. The rhythm is moderate and steady, and is driven by drums and percussion. This album was released in 1977 as part of the "Exodus" album. The main genre is reggae, but it has influences from Ska and traditional Jamaican music. I have had the opportunity to listen to versions in Bossa Nova rhythm.

In a recent conversation with a friend, we addressed the topic of music and its profound influence on our lives. I believe that, in a way, we are what we hear. Music has the power to shape our emotions, both positively and negatively. It can be a balm that brings us calm, peace, relaxation, happiness, euphoria, but it can also become an agent that reduces our spiritual sensitivity and our ability to appreciate truly important things, inducing us to sadness, depression and lack of hope. self-esteem. It is essential to find a balance and avoid falling into extremes. Life, like music, is full of nuances. We face challenges, but we also experience beautiful and joyful moments. Likewise, the music we choose to listen to should resonate with our emotions. To achieve a healthy and balanced life, it is necessary to cultivate a diverse relationship with music. Imagine listening to only sad songs for consecutive days. Inevitably, our mood will be affected. Although it is valid to accompany a moment of discouragement with a nostalgic melody, we must not allow sadness to take over us. Just like an artist paints a canvas with a variety of colors, we must fill our lives with music that reflects the different emotions we experience. Sometimes, music will serve as relief, spite, renewal, enthusiasm and joy. Used wisely, it can become a therapeutic tool of great value.

    Waiting In Vain

    1...2...
    1, 2, 3

I don't wanna wait in vain for your love
I don't wanna wait in vain for your love

From the very first time I blessed my eyes on you, girl
    My heart says follow through
But I know, now, that I'm way down on your line
But the waitin' feel is fine
So don't treat me like a puppet on a string
Cause I know how to do my thing
Don't talk to me as if you think I'm dumb
I wanna know when you're gonna come, see

I don't wanna wait in vain for your love
I don't wanna wait in vain for your love
I don't wanna wait in vain for your love
    Cause if summer is here
    I'm still waiting there
    Winter is here
    And I'm still waiting there

    Like I said:
It's been three years since I'm knockin' on your door
And I still can knock some more
Oooh girl, oooh girl, is it feasible?
I wanna know now, for I to knock some more
Ya see, in life I know there's lots of grief
But your love is my relief
Tears in my eyes burn - tears in my eyes burn
While I'm waiting - while I'm waiting for my turn
    See!

I don't wanna wait in vain for your love
I don't wanna wait in vain for your love
I don't wanna wait in vain for your love
I don't wanna wait in vain for your love
I don't wanna wait in vain for your love, oh!

    I don't wanna - I don't wanna - I don't wanna - I don't wanna -
I don't wanna wait in vain
    I don't wanna - I don't wanna - I don't wanna - I don't wanna -
I don't wanna wait in vain
    No, I don't wanna (I don't wanna - I don't wanna - I don't wanna -
    I don't wanna - I don't wanna wait in vain) -
    No I - no I (I don't wanna - I don't wanna - I don't wanna - I don't
    Wanna - I don't wanna wait in vain) -
    No, no-no, I, no, I (I don't wanna - I don't wanna - I don't wanna -
    I don't wanna - I don't wanna wait in vain) -
    It's your love that I'm waiting on (I don't wanna - I don't wanna -
    I don't wanna - I don't wanna - I don't wanna wait in vain);
It's me love that you're running from
    It's your love that I'm waiting on (I don't wanna - I don't wanna -
    I don't wanna - I don't wanna - I don't wanna wait in vain);
It's me love that you're running from
