El Zorro - James Horner (Cover) [ENG/SPA]

Una de mis series favoritas de Disney que veía cuando era niño es El Zorro, esta es del año 1957, pero incluso aún en estos tiempos es retransmitida. Me encantaba escuchar la canción compuesta por George Bruns y Norman Foster. Apenas escuchaba su letra corría al televisor. Era una hora sagrada e ininterrumpible. Es en 1998 que sale una nueva película llamada La máscara del Zorro y luego una secuela, La Leyenda del Zorro, protagonizada por Antonio Banderas y Catherine Zeta-Jones. Ambas películas me encantan. Hoy quiero compartirles mi interpretación con la trompeta del Tema del Zorro de James Horner. Quiero destacar que Horner es uno de mis compositores de bandas sonoras de películas favoritos, entre las cuales puedo destacar Titanic y Avatar. La canción es netamente instrumental, hice una búsqueda exhaustiva y no le encontré letra.

One of my favorite Disney series I watched as a child is Zorro, which is from 1957, but even in these times, it is still broadcast. I loved listening to the song composed by George Bruns and Norman Foster. As soon as he heard his lyrics, he ran to the television. It was a sacred and uninterrupted hour. It was in 1998 that a new movie called The Mask of Zorro comes out and then a sequel, The Legend of Zorro, starring Antonio Banderas and Catherine Zeta-Jones. I love both movies. Today I want to share my trumpet interpretation of Zorro’s Theme from James Horner. I want to point out that Horner is one of my favorite movie soundtrack composers, among which I can highlight Titanic and Avatar. The song is purely instrumental, I did an exhaustive search and I couldn't find any lyrics.

Sin duda el cine y la televisión han fijado en nuestras mentes las cualidades de un héroe. Algunos son de otro planeta, otros tienen superpoderes e inteligencia, sin embargo, pienso que el mundo está lleno a héroes anónimos que han actuado con valentía a costa de sus propias vidas para salvar a los demás. Entre los héroes verdaderos están médicos, bomberos, policías, científicos y a todo aquel que anda haciendo bienes por la humanidad y por el planeta donde vivimos. Un padre, una madre, un abuelo, un hermano puede ser un héroe en la vida de su familia. Pienso que todos los días ocurren cosas extraordinarias, pero lo normalizamos. Recuerdo hace unos años a un joven inmigrante que se subió por las ventanas de un edificio para salvar un niño, este fue condecorado, obtuvo la nacionalidad francesa instantáneamente y un empleo en el cuerpo de Bomberos. Ese gesto altruista de superar los obstáculos sin esperar nada a cambio produjo grandes reconocimientos. Para el mundo cristiano no hay héroe más grande que Jesús de Nazaret, quien vino al mundo para dar su vida por la humanidad, su amor es tan grande que después de 2000 años sigue influyendo positivamente en los corazones de los que creen y de los que no. Él es para mí uno los mayores héroes.

Without a doubt, cinema and television have fixed in our minds the qualities of a hero. Some are from another planet, and others have superpowers and intelligence, yet I think the world is full of unsung heroes who have bravely acted at the cost of their own lives to save others. Among the true heroes are doctors, firefighters, police officers, scientists, and everyone who is doing good for humanity and for the planet where we live. A father, a mother, a grandfather, or a brother can be a hero in the life of his family. I think extraordinary things happen every day, but we normalize them. I remember a few years ago a young immigrant who climbed through the windows of a building to save a child, he was decorated, and he instantly obtained French nationality and a job in the Fire Department. That altruistic gesture of overcoming obstacles without expecting anything in return produced great recognition. For the Christian world, there is no greater hero than Jesus of Nazareth, who came into the world to give his life for humanity, his love is so great that after 2000 years he continues to positively influence the hearts of those who believe and those who No. He is for me one of the greatest heroes.
