Si hay algo que me gusta de la Navidad es la música: aguinaldos, villancicos y gaitas venezolanas. En esta época tan bonita la música brinda paz y alegría. Uno de los acontecimientos más importantes de la humanidad es el nacimiento de Jesucristo. Amo el relato de la Navidad, es una historia de amor y de esperanza que inspira a crear. He tenido la oportunidad de ver pinturas, esculturas, películas, y diversas manifestaciones culturales. Hoy les traigo mi interpretación con la trompeta de «O Holy Night», compuesta por Adolphe Adam y Placide Cappeau. Este Villancico originalmente fue escrito en francés, y nos habla del nacimiento de Jesús. Ha sido traducido a varios idiomas y lo he escuchado en español, inglés y en italiano.

If there is something I like about Christmas, it is music: Christmas bonuses, Christmas carols, and Venezuelan gaitas. In this beautiful time, music brings peace and joy. One of the most important events of humanity is the birth of Jesus Christ. I love the Christmas story, it is a story of love and hope that inspires me to create. I have had the opportunity to see paintings, sculptures, movies, and various cultural manifestations. Today I bring you my interpretation with the trumpet of "O Holy Night", composed by Adolphe Adam and Placide Cappeau. This Christmas Carol was originally written in French and tells us about the birth of Jesus. It has been translated into several languages and I have heard it in Spanish, English, and Italian.

Esta época es un tiempo para reflexionar, para evaluar nuestras acciones y preparar nuestras metas y planes para un nuevo año. Me encanta trabajar en mis metas tanto físicas, espirituales, sociales e intelectuales. Cuando finaliza el año las publico en mis redes sociales y las coloco en un lugar visible en casa. Trato de hacer una lista sencilla, al menos dos acciones por cada aspecto e incluso coloco fechas para alcanzarlas o realizarlas. Algo importante es hacer las cosas que me gustan y no tratar de complacer a los demás. Cuando nos enfocamos en las cosas que queremos, somos más felices. También uno debe ser realista, puede que se nos antoje subir el monte Everest, pero no tenemos los recursos, ni el tiempo para llegar a alcanzar la cima. Un paso a la vez, y una suma de detalles hacen grandes resultados, hay que hacer un plan para lograrlo. Si hay una fórmula que me ha dado éxito para alcanzar mis metas, es poner a Dios en primer lugar. Entre las prioridades más esenciales están Dios y mi familia. Luego viene todo lo demás. En esta estación espero de todo corazón que podamos ver en retrospectiva las cosas que hemos logrado, y las cosas que necesitamos mejorar. Sigamos soñando y logrando nuestras metas.

This season is a time to reflect, evaluate our actions, and prepare our goals and plans for a new year. I love working on my physical, spiritual, social, and intellectual goals. When the year ends I post them on my social networks and place them in a visible place at home. I try to make a simple list, at least two actions for each aspect and I even set dates to achieve or carry them out. Something important is to do the things that I like and not try to please others. When we focus on the things we want, we are happier. One must also be realistic, we may want to climb Mount Everest, but we do not have the resources or the time to reach the top. One step at a time and a sum of details make great results, you have to make a plan to achieve it. If there is a formula that has given me success in reaching my goals, it is putting God first. Among the most essential priorities are God and my family. Then comes everything else. In this season I wholeheartedly hope that we can look back on the things we have accomplished, and the things we need to improve. Let's keep dreaming and achieving our goals.
