Bienvenidos a mi Blog musical, hoy les traigo mi interpretación con la trompeta de «The Fool on the Hill», una canción de género pop psicodélico influenciada por la moda Hippie, compuesta por Paul McCartney e inspirada en un Gurú de la India al que llamaban tonto por su personalidad risueña. Paul estaba en casa experimentando con el acorde de D Sexta, y se le ocurrió la letra de esta pieza musical. Hay varios instrumentos interesantes en la grabación original, destacan la Harmónica, la Flauta Dulce, las maracas y los crótalos. Esta canción forma parte del Álbum Magical Mystery Tour y de la película del mismo nombre. La letra nos habla acerca de como los seres humanos somos fáciles para juzgar a los demás, vemos las cosas de manera superficial y no nos interesamos por conocer a las personas. Cuando se es pionero en algo, o hacemos cosas que salen de lo tradicional o común, las personas suelen juzgar esas conductas. Muchas veces podemos ser como ese tonto en la colina que se preocupa por las cosas más importantes de la vida, y no se valora nuestras ideas, pensamientos y acciones. En algunos casos los llamarán genios, y otros locos.

Welcome to my music blog, today I bring you my interpretation with the trumpet of "The Fool on the Hill", a psychedelic pop song influenced by Hippie fashion, composed by Paul McCartney and inspired by a Guru from India who was called silly for his laughing personality. Paul was at home experimenting with the D Sixth chord, and he came up with the words for this piece of music. There are several interesting instruments in the original recording, the harmonica, the recorder, the maracas and the crótalos stand out. This song is part of the Magical Mystery Tour Album and the movie of the same name. The lyrics tell us about how human beings are easy to judge others, we see things superficially and we are not interested in knowing people. When you are a pioneer in something, or do things that are out of the traditional or common, people tend to judge those behaviors. Many times we can be like that fool on the hill who worries about the most important things in life, and our ideas, thoughts and actions are not valued. In some cases they will be called geniuses, and others crazy.

Hoy quiero defender al tonto de la colina, a aquel que persigue sus sueños, al que disfruta de lo que hace, y sostiene lo que cree y persevera. Yo siempre me imagino a las personas que crearon la primera aeronave, seguramente tuvieron que aislarse de las miradas pesadas de incredulidad, de las voces que los llamaban locos, y de aquellos que se burlaron. Probablemente, hubo personas que creyeron en ellos, que los animaron y les inspiraron, mientras ellos serán recordados, aquellos que se hicieron jueces serán olvidados. En el campo de la música sucede igual, nos encontramos con grandes obstáculos para alcanzar el éxito. Quien no ha escuchado la frase de algún familiar o amigo que te dice: De música no vive nadie, te vas a morir de hambre. Esa gente no tiene sueños, y se divierte matando las aspiraciones de otras personas. No dejes de soñar y enfocarte en lograr tus metas. Nada viene fácilmente, el éxito se construye con fe, trabajo y constancia.

Today I want to defend the fool on the hill, the one who pursues his dreams, the one who enjoys what he does, and supports what he believes in and perseveres. I always imagine the people who created the first airship, surely they had to isolate themselves from the heavy looks of disbelief, from the voices that called them crazy, and from those who made fun of them. Probably, there were people who believed in them, who encouraged and inspired them, while they will be remembered, those who became judges will be forgotten. In the field of music the same thing happens, we find ourselves with great obstacles to achieve success. Who has not heard the phrase of a relative or friend who tells you: Nobody lives on music, you are going to starve. These people have no dreams, and have fun killing other people's aspirations. Don't stop dreaming and focus on achieving your goals. Nothing comes easily, success is built with faith, work and perseverance.
