A warm greeting to the entire #Vibes community. It’s great to be part of such a talented community of musicians. My congratulations to the winners of week #18. Today I share with you my trumpet performance of “Be Our Guest”, an iconic song from the Disney animated film Beauty and the Beast (1991) composed by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman. This piece of music is in the key of C major and has a wide range in its melody. It has a rhythmic and lively phrasing with pauses and accents. Its tempo is moderately fast, with a 4/4 time signature and a syncopated rhythm. I love how it combines elements of classical music, jazz, and musical theater. The lyrics show exuberance and extravagance and are an invitation to enjoy a luxurious meal at the Beast’s castle. Each verse describes the dishes, services, and atmosphere of the banquet. In the film it is sung by several animated objects such as Lumière, the French candelabra, Cogsworth and others.

Hoy les comparto mi performance con la trompeta de «Be Our Guest», una canción icónica de la película animada de Disney, La Bella y la Bestia (1991) compuesta por Alan Menken y Howard Ashman. Esta pieza musical se encuentra en la tonalidad de C mayor y tiene un rango amplio en su melodía. Tiene un fraseo rítmico y animado con pausas y acentos. Su tempo es moderadamente rápido, con un compás de 4/4 y un ritmo sincopado. Me encanta cómo combina elementos de la música clásica, el jazz y el teatro musical.
