Una combinación entre pop tradicional y jazz es «Hello, Dolly!» un tema compuesto por Jerry Herman en 1964 y popularizado por el gran trompetista y cantante Louis Armstrong. Este tema es parte del Musical de Broadway de la obra Homónima y de la película de 1969 protagonizada por Barbra Streisand, dirigida por Gene Kelly. El personaje principal, Dolly Levi, era al principio interpretado por Carol Channing, que regresa a Harmonia Gardens, un restaurante caro de Nueva York y es recibida por los meseros de manera afectuosa con esta canción. En la película podemos ver a Louis Armstrong interpretando el tema con Barbra Streisand. Estas películas musicales personalmente me encantan, es un estilo que marco una época,y me siguen llamando la atención. Entre las películas musicales que he visto están Mary Poppins, Chicago, Los Miserables, La Novicia Rebelde, ¡Mamma Mia! y películas animadas de Disney.
