    About :

A warm greeting to the Music community. I am pleased to share my trumpet performance of "I'll Be Seeing You," a jazz ballad composed by Sammy Fain and Irving Kahal in 1938 for the musical "Right This Way." Imagine what it meant to the soldiers and families fighting in World War II as a result of being separated. The lyrics speak of remembering someone in familiar places. This song is a traditional pop standard with romantic, chromatic cadences, in the style of Tin Pan Alley. The melody is beautiful, smooth, and expressive, with discreet intervallic leaps. The rhythm is moderate in 4/4 time, with gentle syncopations and expressive rubato. My favorite covers are those by Billie Holiday and Frank Sinatra. I believe that many songs have a significant impact depending on their era and context. This piece was a balm of hope for its time.

When we let ourselves be carried away by our emotions, we can create false expectations. In addition to following our intuition and the feelings of our hearts, it's also necessary to weigh things with reasoning based on facts and experience. It often happens that people lean toward worthy causes and end up disappointed. I've noticed how many times people blindly believe in someone and then end up disillusioned and with a crisis of faith because they didn't achieve what they expected. Believing in hunches, signs, or unfounded promises can be the wrong path. The other aspect is believing without acting. We can't be passive, waiting for others to solve our problems. Faith is accurate, intelligent, and accompanied by action. I can pray for a job, trusting that God will provide the best, and in the meantime, I prepare my resume, make a contact list, and get up very early to look for it. I hope you enjoy my interpretation. Blessings.

Bendiciones.

    I'll Be Seeing You

    Cathedral bells were tolling
    And our hearts sang on
Was it the spell of Paris
    Or the April dawn?
Who knows if we shall meet again?
But when the morning chimes ring sweet again

    I'll be seeing you
In all the old familiar places
That this heart of mine embraces
    All day through

    In that small cafe
    The park across the way
    The children's carousel
The chestnut trees, the wishing well

    I'll be seeing you
    In every lovely summer's day
In everything that's light and gay
    I'll always think of you

That way I'll find you in the morning sun
And when the night is new
I'll be looking at the moon
    But I'll be seeing you
