Hymne à l'amour - Édith Piaf (Cover) by @yisusth

A warm greeting to all members of the #Music community. I am happy to share my interpretation of the trumpet of “Hymne à l'amour”, a beautiful song composed by Édith Piaf and Marguerite Monnot. Recently, I heard it at the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympics in the voice of Céline Dion. Her interpretation was really emotional, and even more so knowing that she suffers from a disease known as Stiff Person Syndrome. I really don't know the details of this condition, but for someone who loves to sing and who has unmatched talent, it must be a difficult situation. Imagine an athlete who enjoys running and can't do it. I love the lyrics of this song, it speaks of love, sacrifice, and the durability of that feeling. The tempo is slow and moderate, there is an atmosphere of reflection and melancholy. It strikes me that at certain moments it has a certain flexibility because time tends to speed up and slow down. The predominant key is E flat major.

Me siento feliz de compartir mi interpretación con la trompeta de «Hymne à l'amour», una hermosa canción compuesta por Édith Piaf y Marguerite Monnot. Recientemente, yo la escuché en la ceremonia de inauguración de las Olimpiadas de París 2024 en la voz de Céline Dion. Fue realmente emotiva su interpretación, y más sabiendo que ella viene de una enfermedad conocida como Síndrome de la persona rígida. De verdad que no conozco los detalles de ese padecimiento, pero para alguien que ama cantar y que tiene un talento inigualable debe ser una situación difícil. Imagínense que un atleta que disfrute de correr y no pueda hacerlo. Me encanta la letra de esta canción, esta habla amor, sacrificio y de la perdurabilidad de ese sentimiento. El tempo es lento y moderado, se siente una atmósfera de reflexión y melancolía. Me llama la atención que en ciertos momentos tiene cierta flexibilidad porque el tiempo tiende a acelerarse y desacelerarse. La tonalidad predominante es E bemol mayor.
