Había un campeonato que disputar en las 145 libras(peso pluma), se trataba del cinturón interino, Yair Rodríguez y Josh Emmet, serían los encargados en luchar por el trono y en las apuestas se esperaba un combate cerrado. Josh Emmet, llegaba con 5 triunfos al hilo y se encuentra número 5 en el ranking. Yair Rodríguez, venía de buenas actuaciones y estaba número 2 en las clasificaciones. Quien ganara el combate, sellaría su pase directo, para ser el nuevo retador al título indiscutido de la categoría.

Ambos peleadores se caracterizan por el striking, aunque, Josh Emmet, cuenta con una base de lucha y Yair Rodríguez con una buena base de jiu-jitsu. Pocos lo tomaban en cuenta, pero cuidado, Yair Rodríguez es cosa seria y puede sorprender a muchos en poco tiempo.

Y sí, hablo de ser campeón unificado de la división, porque ahora tendrá que enfrentar a Volkanovski, luchador que actualmente esta número 1 del libra por libra y viene de hacer tremendo combate contra Islam Makhachev. No está sencillo, pero, tampoco imposible, yo catalogo a Yair Rodríguez, como el Ronaldinho de la UFC, hace magia en el octágono, muy vistoso y con enorme talento. No me sorprendería que consiguiera la victoria contra Volkanovski, aunque todavía no hay nada escrito, toca esperar.
