The Great Mexico City Adventure

A few years back, we all rented and Air bnb in Mexico City. An 8 bedroom house for under $200 a night was a good deal. We ate amazing food, visited a great mexican pyramid, saw mexican wrestling, went to a mexican punk rock show, and almost ended up in mexican jail for drinking a beer outside.

This video documents the highlights from everyone's cell phone who sent the clips over to me after we left. Most of the soundtrack is actual audio from either street musicians or the punk band that we saw live.

Some things undocumented were the super scary taxi ride that I took at about 4AM from the airport towards the Air bnb all by myself. I say "towards" and not "to" because the psychopath taxi driver had me thinking that I was being human trafficked. He kept asking me for more money, driving with all the dash lights in his car out, not looking forward at the road, but back at me screaming for more money even though I had already given him almost 1000 pesos. Then he pulled into a dark little neighborhood and proceeded to call someone on his cell phone, describing me. Super scary, but then ended up moving closer to by Air bnb so i just got out when he stopped after a while. The other scary part, besides almost going to mexican jail, was when the group of prostitutes stalked me as I was walking home from getting soup.
