AFRI-TUNES WEEK 165 || LlONA & FAVE - COLD WAR (COVER) || BY @WEALTHWESS

Hello, Afri-tunes community, it’s your friend @wealthwess and as usual i’m excited to be here again today for this week’s event. I’m sure we all had a great event last week with amazing entries from amazing people of afri-tunes community, with the entries i saw last week, i can say we sure have some talented musicians and instrumentalist amongst us which is a great one.

Haven’t enjoyed previous week events, I for one is eager to go again this brand new week to show my passion for music yet again, meanwhile i’ll be on the look out to check and listen to other talents in the community. By the way, we’re now in week 165 and for me i’ll be presenting a cover of a song from an amazing artist by the name Llona he featured another vocal powerhouse female artist on the track her name is Fave and the song is titled Cold War.

Llona released an Album in 2024 and the song Cold War was amongst the track list, although i rated the album a perfect 10/10 because it was such a good and inspiring album, i mean it couldn’t have been better than that and out of the track list the song Cold War is my favorite because it was such a powerful song mixed with sweet melodious vocals from Llona himself and the featured artist - Fave another beautiful vocalist.

At first, i wondered why he titled the song Cold War but after listening to the song then i completely understood him because the song touches the aspect that every man is for himself and sometimes families and not just friends also betrays one another all because of an agenda known to them, so that’s where i think the title came in, which was perfect in my own opinion.

Overall, Llona has been in the industry for a while now but it’s just of recent he started getting the flowers he deserved as he was nominated for the Rookie award category in the just concluded 2025 Headies Award, although he came short to Zerrydl another exciting artist but from the first album he releases in 2024, i feel he’s destined for greatness and it’s just a matter of time now. Haven’t said that, it’s time to hear my own cover of the song and i do hope you’ll enjoy.
