What is the proper way of disciplining the children according to the bible?
Children should be teach in the way of the lord. Its commande by the word of God to correct a child.You need to punish a child when he our she do what it's wrong.You only correct your child with love Ephesians 23:30

The best way to bring up a child is to bring them up in the way of the lord.you don't need to bring them up in an evil way. A child will become disobedience if you don't raise them up in the way of the lord.Corenthian 4:6.Apart from using rod on a child you need to give them attention and also explain to them the reason you do that.So they won't be rebellious. If they don't know why you hit them they will be rebellious,Its very important to rebuke them with love. As a Christian we need not to provoke our children to anger or hatred
