This is my first time here
My name is Itua Uyi and this is my entry for the vibe web 3 music competition, Week 13.

I was brought into this talented space by @sekani

I was to submit this in week 12, which had the theme "pain", but i was unable to. This song is titled "Arcade" by Duncan Lawrence ft Fletcher which depicts the hurt and pain that comes from loving someone.

In my own instance...the hurt and pain from one sided love 🥺

There's this close friend of mine that I have feelings for but he doesn't feel the same way😔. Here I am, stuck in the friend zone

Each moment with you was a treasure I held close, a silent wish that maybe, just maybe, you felt the same.

But as days turned into nights, it became painfully clear: your heart didn't beat for me the way mine did for you.

The warmth of your friendship, once a source of joy, now feels like a cruel reminder of what could never be.

I remember the times I wanted to reach out, to hold you close and tell you everything I felt, but fear held me back. Fear of losing you entirely.

So I remain here, cherishing the fragments of our shared moments, hoping that someday, the ache will fade and I'll find peace in knowing that at least I had the chance to love you, even if it was only as a friend*.
