I picked the song " Rise up" by Andra Day for this week

During a tumultuous period in her life, Andra Day channeled her pain into writing this deeply emotional piece. The loss of a close friend to illness, compounded by other sorrowful events, weighed heavily on her heart, leaving her in a state of profound despair. Overwhelmed by grief and feeling trapped in a dark mental and emotional space, she faced the daunting decision to rise above it all. Despite the excruciating pain and overwhelming sorrow, she summoned the last vestiges of her strength and willed her soul to rise. In her darkest moments, she made the courageous choice to rise up.

This song brings me to tears as it reminds me of the darkest times in my life when I had no will to live, move on, or keep going.

I felt trapped in my worst nightmare, wishing life would continue without me. My soul felt dead and empty, as if I had reached the end of the tunnel with no light—or worse, a tunnel with no end.

It felt like the end of me. Unable to find strength within myself, I cried out to God, pouring my heart out to Him. My tears were the only way to express the pain I was going through, as no one else understood. He lifted me out of that dark place filled with despair, self-hate, hopelessness, depression, and
