This is the part number 4 of the series "Analyzing my championship games"; in round number 3 I suffered a painful defeat after having consolidated an interesting advantage, this first setback in the Pan American Championship affected me psychologically, however the coach of the national team FM Jose Arturo Torres advised me well and gave me words of encouragement to move forward, the championship was just beginning and many important games were to come.

Esta corresponde a la entrega numero 4 de la serie “Analizando mis partidas de campeonato”; en la ronda número 3 sufrí una dolorosa derrota luego de haber consolidado una interesante ventaja, este primer tropiezo en el panamericano me afectó mucho psicológicamente, sin embargo el entrenador de la selección nacional FM Jose Arturo Torres me aconsejo bien y me brindo palabras de aliento para seguir adelante, el campeonato a penas comenzaba y muchas partidas importantes estaban por venir.

This game was quite complicated especially in the middle game, my opponent seemed to be perfectly prepared in the opening because his moves were quite accurate, in fact we followed a fairly theoretical line in which a dynamic balance of forces was reached, however, when leaving the variations of the book my opponent had an inaccuracy that cost him the loss of equality, even so the position was very strange, I was got an extra pawn but with my king in the center and my queen located in a very uncomfortable diagonal. After a few simplifications I was able to obtain an advantageous rook endgame and in this way I got the point, a victory that recovered my morale after that painful 3rd round.

Esta partida fue bastante complicada sobre todo en el medio juego, mi oponente parecía estar preparado perfectamente en la apertura pues sus jugadas fueron bastante precisas, de hecho seguimos una linea bastante teórica en la que se alcanzó un equilibrio dinámico de las fuerzas, sin embargo, al salir de las variantes del libro mi oponente cometió una impresionismo que le costó la perdida de la igualdad, aún así la posición era muy extraña, me quedé con un peón de más pero con mi rey en el centro y mi dama ubicada en una diagonal muy incomoda. Tras unas cuantas simplificaciones pude obtener un final de torres ventajoso y de esta manera me hice con el punto, una victoria que recuperaba mi moral luego de esa 3era ronda dolorosa.
