Si te gusta la acción y los juegos de tanque Hills of Steels es para ti, un juego muy divertido donde la física tiene un papel muy importante, como su nombre lo indica debes atravesar las colinas con tu tanque, pero estas están llenas de enemigos que debes derrotar.

Es muy sencillo de jugar porque los controles son básicos, solo debes mover el control hacia adelante, hacia atrás y disparar. Su atractivo radica en que la física es algo extraña, debes mover tu tanque a través de las colinas,se siente como que fuera un tanque de verdad y debes moverte con cuidado para no voltearte, si vas muy rápido puedes terminar de cabeza. No tienes opción de mover tu cañón, por lo tanto la única manera de apuntar es moviéndote hacia adelante y hacia atrás jugando con la variación del terreno para acertar los disparos a tus enemigos y en muchas ocasiones te verás obligado a retroceder para no ser destruido.

A medida que vas avanzando los contrarios se hacen más fuertes y al final de cada partida te enfrentarás a un gran enemigo. Solo tienes un modo de disparo y unos cohetes de emergencia que te recomiendo que lo guardes para la batalla final.

Puedes jugar en modo Aventura donde el objetivo es acabar con todos los enemigos y llegar con suficiente salud para enfrentarte al jefe final. A medida que los vas derrotando vas subiendo de rango. El modo clásico es muy parecido al anterior, pero después de derrotar al jefe te dan una caja para mejorar UN POCO tu salud y sigues jugando de forma continua, esto nos pone en una situación difícil porque muchas veces llegamos con la barrita de salud en rojo jajajja

También puedes jugar en modo PvP, donde las batallas duran al rededor de 1 min y puedes jugar en linea contra otros jugadores o contra la IA.

Los gráficos son en 2D al estilo cartoon con bastantes detalles, podemos ver las caras poco amigables de los soldados y los tanques también tienen bastantes detalles, los colores varían de acuerdo al escenario, aunque hay algunas batallas que se desarrollan en la nieve generalmente predomina el verde, si tienes suficientes monedas puedes cambiar la apariencia del tanque, camuflado o de cobra.

En el apartado sonoro aunque podemos escuchar los disparos, como avanza nuestro tanque y las explosiones la música de fondo se lleva el protagonismo.

En conclusión Hill of Steel es un juego de tanques con unos buenos gráficos en 2D, de fácil jugabilidad y con una dinámica totalmente distinta a otros juegos, debido a que el manejo de la física le da un giro interesante y atractivo. En ocasiones los escenarios se tornan un poco repetitivos pero esto es compensado por lo divertido del juego.
