Death in the family

As you know I posted about the recent death in the family of Frankenputer. Well I do have a replacement on the way (thank you @r0nd0n) and it may be a couple more months till I am back up 100% I have found a work around. I want to give a huge shoutout to MX Linux and [AVLinux](AV Linux MX Edition |! Between these two outstanding Linux distros I am able to keep on going with not only my day to day posting on Hive but continue producing audio/video content.

Spk Network ran into a snag with claiming LARYNX token but has found a solution. No the claim isnt going on yet. So dont ask! There is a test net currently under way for this. Very easy to follow instruction below. Between all of these posts I think pretty much anybody can figure out how to run a Spk Claim Chain Node.

Just to be clear, the LARYNX tokens in this test net are not real! This is not the claim drop. The purpose of this test net is to work out any bugs before the claim drop.

• @disregardfiat's guide is [here] - Which covers all aspects of setting one up including the domain name and dns. He also created a real time video doing this. It runs in at 46 minutes. So set aside about 2 hours to do this including time to watch the video first. I suggest you watch the video before doing any of it.

• @balaz's guide [here] - Very easy to follow for nebies to Linux servers. But does ot cover the domain name and dns aspects of it.

While we are talking about Spk Network I might as well mention that 3Speak has native mobile apps in development.

In full disclosure I'm sure you've noticed that I am creating the promo's that are being played during the races. It's a blast to do them and it's helping me to sharpen my video editing skills.

I've often cited the website Reclaim the Net on all of my podcasts. But I kinda waned on it over the last several months. I had been trying to comment on their twitter posts about Rumble and Odeyesee being "Free Speech". Which they are not and I will cover that in another episode. But those Twitter comments are consistently ignored. So I began to think they (RTN) was just one of those kinds of site that reports on the "opposite side of the political spectrum" sites. And I started to ignore them. Then the other day I noticed some links in the footers of the site. There is a section called "Big Tech alternatives". Can you guess who is linked to on the [Free Speech and privacy-focused networks](Free speech friendly and privacy-focused social networks) page? You guessed it, Hive! On the Freed speech friendly video sharing platforms is both @dtube and @threespeak! Thats FRICKING AWSOME!

Final thoughts

I finished with some final thoughts about the Trucker protests in Canada and how it's not just a trucker thing. It's an "us vs them" thing. The people against over reaching and oppressive governments all around the globe. This is a world wide resistance. And I hope it doesnt lead to civil war on a global scale.
We all must STAND STRONG, AS ONE for ALL OF US TO STAND FREE!
