The kingdom of God is not a physical thing. Lk. 17:22 says it is within us. One cannot say the kingdom of God is located in a particular city or town.
It's not true as Joseph Smith claimed that Jesus revealed to him that the kingdom of God or the new Jerusalem would be built at the western boundary of Missouri.
This false claim is an indication that the religion of the Mormons is based on falsehood. Besides, their practice of polygamy caused the authorities to drive them away from Missouri.
The kingdom of God or the new Jerusalem is not a physical location rather a spiritual one. This is what Gal. 4:26 implies when it refers to Jerusalem as being above.
