Based on the Holy Scriptures, how should I court a Christian woman?

Getting a wife needs patience, and should be left in the hand of God. We should not be hasty about it. I believe that 1Cor. 7:27 is teaching us that marriage is a serious issue which does require us to rush into or rush out from. This is because God will do the needful at the right time.

Besides, if you want a good wife, Prov. 19:14b says "a prudent wife is from the Lord." This means that the gift of a good wife comes from God, and not due to our wisdom.

In Gen. 2:18 we see that it was God that provided Adam with a wife even when Adam did not ask for one. Adam did not even knew there was anything like a wife, but in due time, God did the right thing.
