Why did John use "spirit" instead of "prophet" in 1John 1:3? (Part 2 of 2)

Jesus did not come from the world but from somewhere else as Hebrews 10:5 points out by saying "... when he cometh into the world..." a human body was prepared for him by God. In John 6:38, Jesus states that he came down from heaven. And John 13:3 further says he came from God which means he was part of God. This is why he is referred to as the only begotten son of the Father.

And so, anyone that teaches that Jesus is just a man is an antichrist. But any spirit or prophet that declares that Jesus came in the flesh is of God. This is why 1John 4:2 tells us that every spirit that confesses that Jesus is come in the flesh is from God. It's the deceivers and antichrists that say Jesus did not come in the flesh.

Apostle John used the word spirit because it's the spirit that reveals whether a prophet is from God or not.
