Mk. 16:15 commands that Christians should go into the world and preach the gospel to every creature. This verse is not a genuine part of the Bible. It is spurious because most ancient copies of the scripture do not contain Mk. 16:9-20. These verses were unscrupulously added to the Bible.

In fact, the admonition of this verse that we go to preach to every creature makes it wrong. Are you going to preach to animals? This is because the word creature refers to every other created thing, including animals and plants. The book of Romans 1:23-25 makes this clear.

Preaching to every creature is different from the command of Mt. 28:19 which tells Christians to teach all nations, not creatures. Nations are made of families and people.
