    About :

Going to Jordan for baptism is a luxury or sight-seeing which people, especially the rich like to engage in. People like tourism. They go to many places, including isreal and France.

As for baptism, you can be baptized in your locality. The major issue is who will administer the baptism. You have to choose, and not just allow anybody to baptize you.

Matthew 28:19 is where Jesus instructed his disciples to go and baptize all nations in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost, teaching them all his commandments. Therefore, the one that should baptize should be the one that can teach all the commandments of Christ. And so, anyone, be him a pastor, Bishop or anything who cannot teach all the commandments of Christ does not have the authority to baptize.
