Can one's soul be duplicated? (Part 3 of 3)

It's not likely that cloning can bring about the great man of history that God has made through the natural process. That's talking about people like Abraham - a man of faith, Samson - a great man of strength or Solomon - a great man of wisdom and the rest.

Talking about soul, Genesis 2:7 makes it clear that a living soul means the material man, plus the spirit of God. And it's not only man, every living thing has a soul. Rev. 16:3 states that every living soul died in the sea. Living things in the sea include fishes, whales, seals and so on. This idea is supported by Job 12:10 which says that the soul of every living thing is in the hand of God

For one to consider soul as a sort of ghost that leaves the body and comes back is wrong. The entire living thing is the soul. Even God has a soul as Hebrew 10:38 points out. When the spirit leaves, the soul dies because it's the spirit that gives life. James 2:26.

As much as identical twins look alike, they still have separate spirits. Even if they are Siamese twins, each personality has a spirit different from the other.
