Are Christians allowed to use wine in cooking?

You can use alcohol in cooking because when you heat it, it evaporates. So, there will be no more alcohol. The point is, do not drink it straight from the bottle. Which means, we can use it in some ways but, we should not drink it.

The Bible does not encourage drinking alcohol. This is made clear by Prov. 23:21 which says, "for the drunkard and glutton shall come to poverty..." And the same Prov. 31:6 says, "Give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish..." Even Isaiah 5:11 says, "Woe unto them that rise up early in the morning, that they may follow strong drink..."
