Will animals and pets go to heaven? (Part 2 of 4)

Some religious people are telling their members that they can go to heaven with their pets because God intends animals will have a place in heaven. They say they love every creation of God, including animals and man. They base this on the point that animals have soul and spirit.

But this their teaching has no biblical support. We know that it's not only animals that have soul according to Rev. 16:3 which points out that every living soul in the sea died when the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea. This means that aquatic animals have soul.

And we know there won't be seas in the new heaven and new earth according to Rev. 21:1. Besides, Job 12:10 says the soul of every living thing is in the hand of God. If then every living thing has a soul, it means that microorganism and plants, in addition to animals have a soul.

The Bible does not support the teaching that every living thing, includes plants and animals will be going to heaven simply because they have a soul.
