What are God's guidelines for us to be righteousness? (3 of 3)

Heb. 3:16 advises us to hold firm our confidence and hope in Christ. Also, Heb. 6:19 tells us to have a hope that God will resurrect us after death.

It's only Christianity that gives that hope. Our Lord Jesus Christ died and resurrected to give us hope. This is why we must struggle to keep that hope until the end. That hope is that there's resurrection after death when we shall be rewarded.

1John 3:3 says that everyone with that hope purifies himself.

True religion implies keeping ourselves away from the ways of the world.

Further, Titus 2:12-13 advises that we should keep looking unto that blessed hope and the glorious appearing of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ. This is the guideline for Christians to follow.
