SYNOPSIS:
After losing his wife seven years earlier, the eccentric Dr. John Dolittle (Downey), the famous doctor and veterinarian of Queen Victoria's England, takes refuge behind the high walls of Dolittle Manor with his collection of exotic animals as unique company.
But when the young queen (Jessie Buckley, Wild Rose) becomes seriously ill, a reluctant Dolittle is forced to embark on an epic adventure to a mythical island in search of a cure, recovering her wit and courage while finding old adversaries and discovering wonderful creatures .

In his search, the doctor is accompanied by a young apprentice (Harry Collett of Dunkirk) and a group of noisy animal friends, including an anxious gorilla (Oscar® winner Rami Malek), an enthusiastic duck but with a bird's brain (winner of the Oscar® Octavia Spencer), a duo of a cynical ostrich (Kumail Nanjiani from The Big Sick's) and an optimistic polar bear (John Cena de Bumblebee) and a stubborn parrot (Oscar® winner Emma Thompson), who is the most reliable advisor from Dolittle.
