Morning Post and the Road to Minerva

This is my first time posting to Gems and my goal today is to make new friends. I am a proud-active member of Alien Art Hive and my loyalty towards them will never falter. There isn't a single person on Hive who doesn't know JuliaKPonsford within the cryptoart space and she was the one who've made me feel so welcomed here when I first joined Hive. She gave me a place to belong to and because of that I've made some new friends. Despite the little engagements I have on here, this is actually quite a lot better than back when I was on Steemit. As an artist, I feel like there's nothing more discouraging than spending hours on a creation just to have no one to look at it. You're probably wondering why I don't just share my work with the other communities and I think it's because I am afraid of spamming. Also, I tried to crosspost before, but I just didn't like how it worked. In the end, I've come to a realization that my inactive and near non-existent followers have left me no choice. My artistic skills have slowly been increasing, but what's the point if I can't share it with the world? I have to increase my presence....somehow.

Okay, I need to relax. Remember why you started doing this in the first place. Art, to me, is a creative outlet. It's therapy. It's the reason why I started singing. It's the reason why I started rapping. Its the reason why I started volunteering. It's the reason why I started smoking weed. It's because of my seasonal depression.

It's currently 9:30 am in the morning. I am amongst the millions of people who have lost their jobs. Funny, it seems like just earlier this year, I graduated college. Wait....it was earlier this year lol. I am currently surviving on my day-to-day-which-is-becoming-week-to-week cryptocurrency trading. Bitcoin is doing well, thanks to God. I need a smoke.

Just realizing this was supposed to be a simple art post, but my emotions run high early in the morning and late at night. My mind is racing 100 miles an hour and I certainly was not expecting myself to write an essay lol. Perhaps, someone will read this and maybe nobody will. That's fine by me, I'm just chillin.

The Road to Minerva is simply a road to knowledge. In fact, Minerva was known as the Roman goddess of arts and wisdom. I came up with the name from my research into the Illuminati. What? I was bored lol.
