Bueno, hace mucho tiempo que no me paso por esta comunidad y lamento mi inactividad. Debido a ciertos acontecimientos en mi vida tuve que dejar el mundo del ajedrez y también perdí la motivación para jugar online. Antes de irme de Venezuela participé en un pequeño torneo que hicieron por equipos y la verdad es que eso reavivó la llama que sentía por este deporte, así que el día de hoy decidí crearme una cuenta en chess.com y comenzar a jugar.

Decidí comenzar desde 0 ya que no sé cómo considerar mi nivel actual de ajedrez. Anteriormente mi cuenta oficial Jean1301 estaba entre los 1800-2000 de Elo así que era algo bastante considerable, pero dudo muchísimo que después de todo este tiempo mi fuerza como jugador esté en esos niveles. Decidí comenzar desde 0 de Elo y así avanzar poco a poco hasta llegar a un nivel promediado que pueda determinar mi fuerza real e intentar mejorar desde allí. La verdad es que me pone muy nostálgico recordar todo el tiempo que le dediqué a este fantástico deporte y estoy muy feliz de poder seguir jugando a pesar de que sea online.

No soy un jugador experto ni mucho menos, la verdad es que el ajedrez es un deporte increíble para jugarlo como aficionado así como cualquier persona jugaría basquet o futbol. El ajedrez simplemente es igual que cualquier otro deporte.

Espero que disfruten el video, y disculpen la mala calidad del audio. Como ya mencioné en una parte del video, estaba probando el micrófono de mi teléfono para ver qué tal funciona.

Well, I haven't been in this community for a long time and I regret my inactivity. Due to certain events in my life I had to leave the world of chess and I also lost the motivation to play online. Before leaving Venezuela I participated in a small team tournament and the truth is that it rekindled the flame I felt for this sport, so today I decided to create an account on chess.com and start playing.

I decided to start from 0 since I don't know how to consider my current chess level. Previously my official Jean1301 account was between 1800-2000 Elo so it was something quite considerable, but I doubt very much that after all this time my strength as a player is at those levels. I decided to start from 0 Elo and thus advance little by little until I reach an average level that can determine my real strength and try to improve from there. The truth is that it makes me very nostalgic to remember all the time I dedicated to this fantastic sport and I am very happy to be able to continue playing even though it is online.

I am not an expert player, the truth is that chess is an incredible sport to play as an amateur just as anyone would play basketball or soccer. Chess is simply the same as any other sport.
