Raiders of the Lost Ark Part 1 - Dangers lurk for a new treasure hunter like me

This is game #9 in my series for completing SNES games using an emulator and ROMs.

In part 1 of the game Indiana Jones Greatest Adventures I start off like with any game I have not played, quickly learning with some mistakes before properly playing the game.
There are already tough parts and challenges to start overcoming which make the game even more exciting, fun and well worth playing straight away.

Once I get passed the first level after dying a number of times, I get the hang of the game and start performing better much sooner... Then I get to the second level with the rolling boulder and find I have to keep loading the save state due to the numerous deaths because of things like jumping too early, getting knocked back and splattered by the boulder, or just not knowing exactly what is to come. Eventually I remember and get through it and move onto the next level.
This level is in the snow and sees me using the gun for the first time and having to watch out for falling little snow boulder things down some hills, many enemies including new ones which tend to pop up in the new stages and other trials to overcome quickly.

For a new platformer I never played as a kid, Indiana Jones Greatest Adventures is a solid game that has captured my attention from the first level, nice music, challenges and much more that is keeping me interested in the game.

Emulator used: RetroArch
ROMS: They are the games
Saving: Using emulator saving between levels or occasionally in tough parts so I don't always die and repeat so then the game can get completed.
