Chrono Trigger Part #1 - Early leveling and off to find the Queen!

This is game #3 in my series for completing SNES games using an emulator and ROMs.

In part 1 for the game Chrono Trigger I had already done some earlier fights after being send through a portal, back to 600 A.D to Truce Canyon and an earlier time than the present time of 1000 A.D. I get some earlier fights out of the way for a bit of experience, before heading to the castle where it turns out the Queen was kidnapped and the girl Chrono bumped into at the millenial fair in the present time had taken place as the Queen.
This was due because Marle is a descendant of Queen Leene.

I Head to the Cathedral to face imposters that were enemies in disguise, requiring me to have a nice but easy fight. Which I then get introduced to a frog that joins my party and I named him Brog.
Now the party size is full with 3 characters as Lucca has been helping and the first that joined, it was off through a secret door and onto fighting all the enemies all around the cathedral's levels.

Nagas, diablos, and some snake things are just some of the first enemies you discover and there were multiple fights to complete and the experience gained was great since you need to keep leveling extra in a JRPG game like Chrono Trigger.

I only ever played a small bit of Chrono Trigger years ago on the emulator, never did as a kid though. The ability to have your party members do dual and triple strike moves for more powerful abilities, that adds much variety and enjoyable gameplay to what quickly became, an enjoyable game that I have been loving from the get go as a fan of retro RPG games and just RPG games in general!

Worth really checking out if you are a fan and want to play the retro games to try, or to live old memories and finish games you never got to complete.

Streamlabs OBS used for recording and setting the scene with SNES font, my avatar and the game picture for what I am playing.

    Emulator used: RetroArch
    ROMS: They are the games
Saving: Using emulator saving between levels or occasionally in tough parts so I don't always die and repeat so then the game can get completed.
