Cane of Somaria reveals the true Eye of the Beholder

This is game #12 in my series for completing SNES games using an emulator and ROMs.

In part 11 of the game Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past I decide to order the next two dungeons by starting with the sixth maiden in Misery Mire as it says something from here can help in the fifth maiden dungeon of the Ice Palace.

There are many paths and optional rooms in this one so I only find the first bit of the way to go so I save time and start seeing how much this dungeon really has in it!
We of course have to see an appearance of the always annoying, flying tiles room which I could probably keep rushing through anytime I am in it, but I manouver about the rooms while killing jellyfish, wizards and finding the necessary keys so I can get moving onto the next rooms.

I have a quick look after getting the master key at the walkthrough to find the way to go after I realised I still had to do something first. Which leads me to the room of the falling floor and laser eyes. This room is necessary as the item I need is the Cane of Somaria which allows me to place an orange block on the ground which is helpful to hold doors open by placing one on a button, or placing it to cross a dangerous chasm like the black pit of nope you find all around.

Once I have the cane I continue with progressing through the dungeon which leads me through many rooms and to one with low lighting and where the Cane of Somaria comes in handy for its intended purpose.
At this point is where I have to deal with a few more dark low light rooms and then after a couple of normal but sort of tough rooms before the boss.

Finally at the boss I decide to quickly see how to face this boss full of eyes and slime as I have never used the other cane before, turns out it protects you from damage and you can simply slash away at all the eyes, killing them all off before using the arrows against the main eye and makes the fight so easy to beat. Things like this cane and the cape are the best items you could use so your life in the game just gets made easy throughout any challenges

Streamlabs OBS used for recording and setting the scene with SNES font, my avatar and the game picture for what I am playing.

    Emulator used: RetroArch
    ROMS: They are the games
Saving: Using emulator saving between levels or occasionally in tough parts so I don't always die and repeat so then the game can get completed.
