You will hear my PS4 controller being hammered as I quickly press the buttons for the different combos I am stringing together, yeah my microphone picked it up but at least you know I am using it haha!
Also apologies in advance for any Killer instinct rage moments with swearing etc in my videos.
This is game #11 in my series for completing SNES games using an emulator and ROMs.
In part 9 of the game Killer Instinct I get close to a first match win against Thunder until he pulls it back with a final combo to finish me off, requiring me to get through a second match and get the win and move onto the 3rd to last character...
Spinal decides to cheat by teleporting behind me as I do my jump forward attack and that helped him win the first 2 matches. The bastard also in match 2, got off an ultra and stage knock off, damn him! But I worked out how to do the charge attack at least hooray!
Now Fulgore wants to join in on the fun of ultras, getting a match 1 ultra to show how much the AI can do what I can do, sometimes better. So I show Fulgore up in match 2, by going from a losing and dazed state to being the winner and moving on to the dreaded Eyedol mirror match...
Mirror match, Eyedol VS Eyedol, it was not very fun at times. He would tear me apart a lot while some matches would see me hold my own, eventually I finally feel satisfaction as I get a win after quite a few matches and can put Killer Instinct down and move on to the next game.
As for game #12 for the letter L, the game I have chosen is... Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
I had heard this game was meant to be a lot of fun and done well and since I have never played it but loved the Nintendo 64 Zelda games, this was a fitting and more relaxing choice to wind down with after Killer Instinct.
Will be a long sort of game that could take 15 - 20 hours but I will bring some of the best parts and haven't had a big game like this since Chrono Trigger and I was super keen on this choice.
Streamlabs OBS used for recording and setting the scene with SNES font, my avatar and the game picture for what I am playing.
Emulator used: RetroArch
ROMS: They are the games
Saving: Using emulator saving between levels or occasionally in tough parts so I don't always die and repeat so then the game can get completed.
