This is game #25 in my series for completing SNES games using an emulator and ROMs.
In part 3 of the game Young Merlin I grab the minecart wheel from out the front of the mine which is a necessary item to continue forward. It takes some time but eventually, I get to the little cart thing requiring the wheel and I am able to start taking the tracks around the place, trying to find the way through to the next location which seems straight forward...
No it isn't. Because if you don't go the right away or make the right turns etc, as you will see it leads to dead ends and needing to restart taking the tracks again.
In time I got through it and the cart crashes into the cracked wall I saw earlier, opening up the way to an underwater cave which has dangers.. like drowning if you don't find the holes with the mermaids to kiss you and give you extra time, or the hammerhead sharks (literally) and other dangers coming for you.
Underwater becomes easier after heading back to the springs and getting the bubble item to give double the time! This makes finding that damn fish for the wizard, much simpler and that is just what I do. I find the fish and head on out to go refill the bottles with substance for continued adventure.
Streamlabs OBS used for recording and setting the scene with SNES font, my avatar and the game picture for what I am playing.
Emulator used: RetroArch
ROMS: They are the games
Saving: Using emulator saving between levels or occasionally in tough parts so I don't always die and repeat so then the game can get completed.
