Experimenting with this toy piano to play around with musical ideas.
AND as part of my challenge to extend Summer 2021 all the way to Spring 2022, I'm doing it all outdoors!
Some great bird song in the background too!
Recording everything as well as you never know what could be useful for a future track or to incorporate into one of my modular sets!
What do you think of the toy piano? It's only 1.5 octaves (18 keys) but on the upside it has 18 notes of polyphony (not bad specs conpared to quite a lot of analogue synths!
The toy piano has a very clicky sound in it's action - but I think it's really characterful and may well use it somehow in a track. I'm an electronic musician - but that doesn't mean I can't incorporate acoustic instruments and real worlds sounds into my music!
