    This is something that few consider. Housing on college campuses is often owned by bond holders; bonds which were sold to construct them. Thus, schools have to make annual payments to the bond holders.

    In this video I discuss how the housing vacancy rates are increasing, putting more stress on the University system. Students are simply not flocking to universities with the debt and COVID-19.
