It appears that Twitter is working on a wallet that would allow people to deposit and withdraw cryptocurrency. This is an interesting development, if true. Elon is not involved with the company at this point so it is something these started on their own.
This is another example of how blockchains are already ahead of what the centralized entities are trying to do. The wallet and payment systems are already in place.
