Some time ago, I tried Sheer Yakh (Afghan shaved ice) for the very first time and enjoyed the different flavors that surprisingly went well together.
Looking at the craftsman preparing our ice cream, we could see the pride he put into his work and admired the skill needed for every step and ingredient for it all to come together. The flavor of the Sheer Yakh not only exceeded my expectations, but the friendliness and helpfulness of the employees added to the experience of enjoying a bowl of shaved ice cream.
We're definitely going back, especially in the Summer. Have you ever had Sheer Yakh and if so, what's your take on it?
