Bird trough.

Greetings to all! It's been a while since I last posted to this amazing community of nature lovers, I'm so glad to be back. Delighted to start my first post of 2023 always wishing you all a fruitful year.
I will tell you, I have always been amazed by bird life, and the valley where I live is a paradise for them. Every morning I wake up to the sound of chirping and fluttering, it is something that always makes me smile. It's a reminder that nature can still be enjoyed even in the hustle and bustle of our daily lives. And now, with my vacation days, I can enjoy the bird visits even more.


Now that I'm home I sit in the backyard to watch them hopping in and out of the cool water of the watering hole. It's such a peaceful sight and always reminds me to be grateful for the little things, I'm glad I was able to enjoy this little bird oasis during my time off. It's always nice to take a break and appreciate the beauty of nature.

We imagined many times, our backyard with a little more life, but we never imagined that it would be so beautiful to see parakeets, chulinga among other birds, fluttering in the water with so much joy, what we did not imagine that at night we were going to be the protagonists of a concert of small frogs.

By the sound we could hear, we thought it was a huge toad, but it turned out to be a small frogs that made a very sharp sound for its tiny size, as it measures no more than three centimeters, I tried to find information on the internet, but I have not had good results, the truth is that I focused on making a short video to the sound of the tiny frogs, because in the dark a photo with the phone would not look very good. What surprised us the most is that the sound emitted by the frogs sounds like a saxophone.

The truth my friends is that this watering hole is now not only for all the birds that want to relieve their thirst or take a succulent bath like the thrushes that are the ones that enjoy it the most, because they are the most trusting ones and they let themselves be photographed.
