Romantic Ballad - A Guitar Solo from the Heart...

Hello everyone :) I hope you are all having a great week so far.

Today I was just practicing guitar, and I was really feeling like I just wanted to close my eyes and see what comes out of me. I have been feeling a range of emotions recently for a number of reasons, and for me, nothing is better than music to just be in the moment.

So, I played this 4 minute guitar piece! I threw on the track and this is what came out. I used to be able to really imagine the solo in my head and transcribe it to my hands, which is something I am trying again these days.

I know that the audio isn't mixed quite as well as it could be, as I just wanted to play it raw and that was it - I left my emotions in my music!

Also, as I was lucky to get asked to select a theme for Hive Open Mic 122 - I have selected 'Emotion'... so this will be great to hear what people come up with then!:)

I hope you all enjoy this solo! If you like it, maybe I will spend some more time playing over this and I'll write and record a proper version (without my guitar buzzing! Sorry about that!)
