The Road To 100,000 Streams | Episode 4 - MARKETING (My Mini-Series!)

Hello everyone, and welcome to a new week! First of all - this week is going to be AWESOME! It's Monday, so get ready for a great week ahead!

Here is Episode 4 of my mini-series. This is a documentation of my musical journey!

My debut album 'TIME?' has been out for 2 months now, and my goal is to achieve 100,000 unique streams by the end of this year :) I am currently at around 6,000 - so I have a long way to go but I will make it! :)

Now, I know music isn't all about the numbers, but for me this is a goal that I want to reach!

In this Episode of my mini series 'The Road To 100,000 Streams' I highlight my marketing journey. This sure can feel like a long and lonesome road, especially as a solo artist. Nevertheless, I endured and am sitting closer to my goal. Slightly closer... but progress is finally being made!

I break marketing down into the two obvious categories - Free and Paid. I highlight what worked and what didn't. I also highlight that (in my limited experience) getting onto playlists is a must - be it paid or free. I diverted my energy away from paid facebook traffic ad campaigns as I was not having any success (yes, I followed ALL of the steps) but lo and behold progress was made from an unlikely interaction. The progress was looking bleak, and that turned to steep, overnight! Definitely happy, and we are on our way to SMASHING THIS GOAL!
