Tele Tuesday - 'Round Midnight

This arrangement of the jazz classic is from the same 1995 Total Guitar magazine as my Paul Weller cover. I plan to work through some of my old magazines to see what I can find to play.

I have attempted this tune several times over the years, but still find it hard. I have little idea of what the chords are and they are not notated. I am following the tab rather than the traditional music, although I can read music fairly well. It is just easier when things are played in odd places to see from the tab exactly where to put your fingers.

You can probably see I am studying the music just to get through this. Please excuse my lockdown hair.

It is a good thing this is a slow tune as I would not be able to play something like this at speed or even to a rhythm track. Not without a lot more practice anyway.

As usual I am playing my Benford custom Telecaster through a Zoom G3X .
