I have been on Hive for the past 5 years, and it has not been as smooth as you may think it is, but I must say it has been an interesting and fulfilling journey. I have grown to be a better version of myself since I joined Hive, and it has contributed to who I am today. If I were to tell anybody about my life, it would be definitely incomplete if I didn't mention Hive in it.
I know many of you must have known how I came about joining Hive, as I have written the story numerous time. well if you don't know, You can check out this post titled MY JOURNEY ON HIVE || HOW HIVE CHANGED MY LIFE.
In the video above, I talked about the projects I have come up with over the years and the challenges I have faced with my plans for the future.
If you may not be able to watch the video, here is a short summary:
The past year had been quite challenging, and I had come up with projects like Hive Bootcamp, which has stopped functioning for now because of the issue of plagiarism by one of the graduates of the school. This is actually the major problem I face when I onboard people to Hive, and the truth is, I stopped bringing people to Hive because of it. Not that I don't tell people about plagiarising when I mentor them In fact, it is actually the first thing I talk about, and it is also what I talk about the most. It just gets really annoying when it happens, and yeah, the onboarder most often takes part of the blame.
Since I have a vision for Hive Bootcamp, it is only on hold for now and would be something I would still continue as I have the passion to share the opportunity Hive has to offer to everyone.
Aside from the Hive Bootcamp project, I also have it in mind to work on making sure to have an organised Hive Community in my university that would function even when I am not around. This would help promote Hive at my university and build awareness among more people in Nigeria.
