This is the torrent and music/movies industries situation again, but with brands and brand identities. They will have to adapt, but what will happen with those that realize it late?

In Web 2 we had cyber squatters. Registering domain names before Big companies realized they need to be on the web. On Web 2 they were able to retrospectively get them back with a help of regulators.

On Web 3 run by decentralized communities that will not be an option.

Why don't Big Gaming Companies adapt NFTs? Because they feel they will lose control of it. But they will lose control anyway so why not adopt it early?

You can't sue communities located all over the world.
