Street Workout 🏋️‍♀️

This publication has two parts, the first is to describe what was the sporting activity and the second is the sharing between hivers, join me.

This weekend took place the street workout championship in the facilities of the mall Los Aviadores in Maracay, Venezuela, organized by @manuelramos community manager with the support of his team, including @gaboarzola moderator. The activity took place between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. The competition was planned to start at 11 a.m. and end at 5 p.m., but it was extended about two hours because the last couples were in a tie position and had to perform other demonstrations to get a winner.

What is street workout or street training?

It is a sport that is based on the training of street gymnastics, in other words it is a part of the gymnastics that is performed outdoors with elements that are found in dynamic and recreational parks, public spaces and differs from the common gymnastics because it is less elegant to perform the movements and has more freedom,

Not just any outdoor exercise is a street workout, the exercises that dominate this discipline are pull-ups, muscle-ups, push-ups, push-ups, squats, front and back levers, planks, and bar-style (all of these exercises have variations in order to make the execution more difficult).

In the competition there was a jury for each specialty, one for dynamic, one for static, one for combinations and one for the power nut specialty. Of the four jurors 3 have Hive accounts and one is in the process of induction, one of the purposes of the event is to incorporate athletes to join the street workout hive community and execute a symbiosis with the hive platform.

It should be noted that the financing of the event and main sponsor was Hive through the DAO, according to information from @gaboarzola with the support of @Eddiespino and @guiltyparties could have a stage, led screen, sound, banners, food and hydration of athletes, protocol personnel, staff, physiotherapists and medical staff, jury and organizers, a number of elements that are expensive and need for a good sporting event.

Competition dynamics

The couples were chosen at random to identify the turn of participation, at this stage they present their skills and show what they know and can do individually, being a total of 20 couples, in the first round of classification were reduced to 12 entering the quarterfinals and from here the competition varies because it is when couples begin to compete against each other, one couple against the other. Then came the semifinals with 6 couples to compete for the first 3 places.

The prizes were Trophies to the first 3 places, medals with the logo of hive, certificate of participation, personalized t-shirts of the competition sponsored by the company @probarrasestructuras and key chains. This sport is for either sex, only that in this opportunity purely men were registered, I call on the women of hive to join these trainings. 🤣

Street Workout 🏋️‍♀️

Esta publicación tiene dos partes, la primera es describir lo fue la actividad deportiva y la segunda el compartir entre hivers, acompáñame.

Este fin de semana se llevó a cabo el campeonato de street workout en las instalaciones del centro comercial los aviadores en Maracay, Venezuela, organizado por @manuelramos administrador de la comunidad con el apoyo de su equipo, entre ellos @gaboarzola moderador. La actividad transcurrió entre las 11 de la mañana hasta las 7 de la noche, La competencia estaba planificada para que iniciara a las 11 a.m. y finalizara a las 5 p. m, pero se extendió unos dos horas porque las últimas parejas quedaron en posición de empate y se tuvo que realizar otras demostraciones para obtener un ganador.

Que es el street workout o entrenamiento callejero

Es un deporte que se basa en el entrenamiento de gimnasia callejera, en otras palabras es una parte de la gimnasia que se realiza al aire libre con elementos que se encuentran en parque dinámicos y recreativo, espacios públicos y se diferencia a la gimnasia común porque esta es menos elegante al realizar los movimientos y presenta más libertad,

No cualquier ejercicio al aire libre es street workout los ejercicios que domina esta disciplina son dominadas, muscle-ups, fondos, flexiones, sentadillas, palancas frontales y traseras (front lever y back lever en inglés), planchas, y bar-style (todos estos ejercicios cuentan con variaciones con el fin de dificultar la ejecución).

En la competencia hubo un jurado por especialidad, uno para dinámicos, otro para estáticos, otro para combinaciones y para la especialidad de power nut. De los cuatro jurados 3 poseen cuentas en Hive y uno está en proceso de inducción, uno de los propósitos del evento es incorporar a los atletas a sumarse a la comunidad en hive de street workout y ejecutar una simbiosis con la plataforma hive.

Cabe destacar que la financiación del evento y patrocinador principal fue Hive a través del DAO, según informaciones de @gaboarzola con el apoyo de @Eddiespino y @guiltyparties se pudo tener una tarima, pantalla led, sonido, pancartas, alimentación e hidratación de los atletas, personal de protocolo, staff, fisioterapeutas y personal médico, jurado y organizadores, una cantidad de elementos que son costosos y necesitan para un buen evento deportivo.

Dinámica de la competencia

Se realizó al azar la escogencia de las parejas para identificar el turno de participación, en esta etapa ellas presentan sus habilidades y demuestran lo que saben y pueden hacer de forma individualizada, siendo un total de 20 parejas, en la primera ronda de clasificación fueron reducidas a 12 entrando en los cuartos de finales y desde aquí la competencia varía porque es cuando las parejas comienzan a competir entre versus, una pareja contra la otra. Después vienen las semifinales con 6 parejas para disputarse los primeros 3 lugares.

Los premios fueron Trofeos a los primeros 3 lugares, medallas con el logo de hive, certificado de participación, franelas personalizadas de la competencia patrocinada por la empresa @probarrasestructuras y llaveros. Este deporte es para cualquier sexo, solo que en esta oportunidad se inscribieron puros hombres, hago un llamado a las mujeres de hive para que se unan a estos entrenamientos. 🤣

The championship served to motivate the hivers to attend this meetup and give support to the event, it is the first time I meet and know the following hivers, excuse me for the spam, but I had such a good time that I want to thank those who were with me for a while, @garybilbao, @carmary, @fermionico, @fmbs25, @samgiset, @enrique89, excuse me the others that I do not name, I do not want to abuse.
