Dear friends I come this time with a video of the process to polish the car headlights in a very practical and economical way.

We only need three ingredients that we have at hand at home and it is nothing more and nothing less than water, soap powder and a mop.

On the internet you can find a great variety of videos and tutorials of what we can do with the headlights of our cars to remove that dull and yellow appearance caused by the sun and the weather.

In our country Venezuela due to the high cost of spare parts is increasingly common to see restoration work of many car parts, I have seen workshops that are specializing only in bumpers or fenders, there are also houses that rebuild the headlights.

Many paint shops restore the headlights devastating with sandpaper and polishing with special creams but this brings some consequences, the first one is that every time the plastic of the headlights is roughed it loses its thickness and they are weakened, another problem is that when using polishing creams it brings chemical components that over time accelerate the decomposition of the plastic.

That's why when I saw this technique of soap I did not hesitate to test it because it is less invasive, of course the result is not of the quality of a new one but it creates a quite noticeable and favorable change.

Once I did it with toothpaste, it also works but this technique is a little more expensive.

Queridos amigos vengo en esta oportunidad con un vídeo del proceso para pulir los focos del auto de manera muy práctica y económica.

Solo necesitamos tres ingredientes que tenemos a la mano en casa y se trata nada más y nada menos de agua jabón en polvo y una mopa.

En internet se consiguen una gran variedad de videos y tutoriales de que podemos hacer con los focos de nuestros autos para quitarle esa apariencia opaca y amarilla que causa el sol y la interperie.

En nuestro país Venezuela debido al alto costo de los repuestos es cada vez más común ver trabajos de restauración de muchas partes de autos, he visto talleres que se están especializando solo en parachoques o defensas, también hay casas que reconstruyen los focos.

Muchos talleres de pintura restauran los focos devastando con lija y puliendo con cremas especiales pero esto trae algunas consecuencias, la primera es que cada vez que se va desbastando el plástico de los faros va perdiendo su espesor y van quedando debilitados, otro problema es que al usar cremas de pulitura está trae componentes químicos que con el tiempo aceleran la descomposición del plástico.

Es por eso que cuando ví esta técnica del jabón no dude en ponerla a prueba ya que es menos invasiva, claro el resultado no es de la calidad de uno nuevo pero si se crea un cambio bastante notorio y favorable.

En una oportunidad lo hice con pasta dental, también funciona pero es un poco más costosa está técnica.
