¿Imaginas tener el poder de controlar el tiempo? ¡Sería estupendo! Claro que la realidad en la que vivimos es, sin duda alguna, una frontera para lo inimaginable. Life is Strange es un videojuego que nos puede ayudar a romper la realidad, e incluso, crear paradojas. He decidido compartir con ustedes mis primeras impresiones sobre este juego para que se sumerjan junto a mí en un mundo surrealista con muchos toques de ciencia ficción.

Can you imagine having the power to control time? Would be great! Of course, the reality in which we live is, without a doubt, a frontier for the unimaginable. Life is Strange is a video game that can help us break reality and even create paradoxes. I have decided to share with you my first impressions of this game so that you can immerse yourself with me in a surreal world with many touches of science fiction.

En este primer vistazo al Gameplay nos movemos en la vida de Max, una chica envuelta en la paradoja del tiempo y el espacio. Los gráficos son, en esencia, deslumbrantes: podemos mirar cómo se desarrollan los personajes del entorno, escuchar sus diálogos e interactuar con ellos. Este juego es capaz de meternos en una historia profunda, típica de las grandes consolas, con una temática madura y llena de misterios, y también de lo que tanto nos gusta como Gamers: adrenalina.

In this first look at the Gameplay we move in the life of Max, a girl involved in the paradox of time and space. The graphics are, in essence, stunning: we can watch the characters in the environment develop, listen to their dialogue and interact with them. This game is capable of getting us into a deep story, typical of the big consoles, with a mature theme and full of mysteries, and also what we like so much as Gamers: adrenaline.

Para esta ocasión verán el capítulo correspondiente a “Crisálida”, el cual es la apertura del juego y el desencadenante a los eventos posteriores. La dinámica de juego de Life Is Strange está estructurada bajo escenarios y posibilidades múltiples. Tenemos la opción vivir el presente para convertirlo en una realidad que se adapte a nuestra conveniencia según lo que Max, nuestra heroína cotidiana, deba cumplir para seguir su aventura.

For this occasion you will see the chapter corresponding to "Crysalis", which is the opening of the game and the trigger for subsequent events. The game dynamics of Life Is Strange is structured under scenarios and multiple possibilities. We have the option to live in the present to make it a reality that suits our convenience according to what Max, our everyday heroine, must accomplish to follow her adventure.

Lo que más me gustó de este primer Gameplay de Life Is Strange fue la gran eclosión de acontecimientos que me mantuvieron en suspenso durante todo el video. Estamos en lo que parece una secundaria, con todos los problemas de una adolecente que, sin desearlo ni preverlo, rompe el tiempo para evitar un asesinato. Mucho de este juego me hizo recordar a TimeShift, aquel juego donde teníamos la posibilidad de regresar en el tiempo, no obstante ambos videojuegos tienen temáticas muy distintas.

What I liked the most about this first Life Is Strange Gameplay was the great explosion of events that kept me in suspense throughout the video. We are in what looks like a high school, with all the problems of a teenager who, without wishing or anticipating it, breaks time to avoid a murder. A lot of this game reminded me of TimeShift, that game where we had the chance to go back in time, but both video games have very different themes.

Algo que no me agradó tanto fue la sincronización entre el movimiento y la visión del panorama. Caminar y girar a la vez fue mi pesadilla durante todo el Gameplay. Al principio no percibí por completo el texto en la pantalla que indica la dinámica de juego a seguir, es como si mi modelo de teléfono necesitara una pantalla más grande; cuestión que me preocupa para los próximos capítulos en caso de que esto sea fundamental para visualizar las herramientas que ofrece el juego, incluyendo el inventario de nuestro personaje. No debería ser así; creo que debieron configurar una visión de pantalla estándar para evitar estos inconvenientes.

Something that I did not like so much was the synchronization between the movement and the vision of the panorama. Walking and turning at the same time was my nightmare throughout the Gameplay. At first I didn't fully perceive the text on the screen indicating the gameplay to follow, it's as if my phone model needed a bigger screen; issue that worries me for the next chapters in case this is essential to visualize the tools offered by the game, including the inventory of our character. It should not be like that; I think they should have set up a standard screen view to avoid these inconveniences.

En general disfruté mucho este Life Is Strange; estas apuestas para Smartphone me ayudan a recordar mis experiencias pasadas con mi amada Playstation 2, por lo que me siento afortunado. Te invito a mirar este Gameplay y a contarme tus impresiones. Sin duda este videojuego es muy prometedor y además está lleno de sorpresas ¡muchas sorpresas! Acompáñame junto a Max a descubrir la rareza del tiempo y la terrible distorsión de la realidad.

Overall I really enjoyed this Life Is Strange; these Smartphone bets help me remember my past experiences with my beloved Playstation 2, so I feel lucky.
